Interchangeable Pads
The PadBox is a smart, slide-out container designed to host multiple interchangeable Pads. Each Pad can also be used as a standalone illumination device with an optional plug adapter.
Simply select the Pad you need—UV, Blue, White, or even your own custom hardware, such as a heater, cooler, electrophoresis tank, or specialized light source. With 6 Application Pads and 3 conversion screens available, you can switch seamlessly between transilluminators to suit any workflow. The system automatically recognizes each Pad when connected, allowing the E-Box to instantly adjust its imaging settings in the software.
Easiest Image Acquisition Process
The E-Box automatically controls the camera, lens, and lighting to deliver optimal results. Select your application and press “Auto”: the system lights the transilluminator, adjusts the lens, sets exposure, and turns off UV safely. Each step is handled by the software, letting you focus on your research instead of technical settings. The interface is ergonomically designed, and the menu is simple and intuitive, making it perfect for multi-user environments.
